You are cordially invited to attend this year’s ALFDP 2015 Annual Conference, Game Changers, the ALFDP Playbook.
The Conference begins on Thursday, November 12 at 12:30 p.m. with our Ambassador Program. Conducted over lunch, senior and board members will serve as ambassadors to new ALFDP members. We will have discussions about ALFDP and key topics of interest for our new members.
The Conference will then commence for all members at 2 p.m. and run until 7 p.m. including a reception. On Friday, November 13, we will begin at 8:00 a.m. and run through 4:30 p.m.
We are working on an exciting agenda, which will be shared over the coming weeks once finalized. Based on your feedback, the Conference will offer a blend of internal and external experts who will focus on helping us make and manage change. They will provide tangible information and tools to guide us in the areas of setting strategy, coaching, creating innovative training programs and solutions and identifying the return on the investments made in diversity and inclusion.
We will have two sessions devoted more personally to you! One will help you identify your own MicroTriggers® and those of others. The workshop also deals with the factors that influence the intensity of MicroTriggers® and how they can impact individual and group performance. The other session will help you identify your preferred influencing style and how you can leverage that for greatest impact. We are also pleased to welcome back ALFDP alumnus, Keith Early, who will share research he conducted about the lived experience of black women equity partners in large law firms.
Attached is a list of hotels that are located within proximity to Dechert. Book promptly — prices are rising!
If you have questions, please reach out to any member of the ALFDP Conference Planning Committee: Olivia Blair, Carlos Dávila-Caballero, Mary Ellen Connerty (Chair), Sam Jacobson, Bobbie Jo Papagno, and Becky Whitehurst.
The best value of the conference comes for all that we share during our time together, so we hope to see you this November in New York.
