Position Summary:

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Manager provides support to the Chief DE&I Officer and the Director of DE&I, assisting with the implementation and enhancement of the Firm’s DE&I strategic initiatives and programs, and serving as a core member of the Firm’s DE&I team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works with a cross-functional team to assist with implementing best practices related to the Firm’s DE&I strategic initiatives and programs
  • Collaborates with Professional Development and others on the implementation and execution of DE&I initiatives to support diverse attorneys, including related trainings and other development and engagement opportunities
  • Collaborates with Talent Services, Learning and Development, and others to build out inclusion strategies for professional staff, including related training, learning and engagement opportunities
  • Assists with project management pertaining to initiatives and programs to advance the Firm’s DE&I goals
  • Collaborates with Talent Services and others on diversity-focused recruiting, including participating in job fairs and on-campus recruiting, conducting outreach to students, law schools, summer associates, and new hires, and promoting awareness of the Firm’s DE&I strategic initiatives and programs
  • Assists in responding to external and internal surveys related to DE&I, including playing a key role in drafting and reviewing responses as needed
  • Assists with developing metrics that measure the effectiveness and promote success of the Firm’s DE&I programs
  • Compiles information and helps prepare DE&I monthly, quarterly and/or annual reports
  • Responds to inquiries related to GT’s DE&I initiatives and programs, including escalating more complex inquiries as needed
  • Serves as an ambassador of the Firm’s DE&I initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Performs additional duties as required and directed

Qualifications & Prior Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; J.D. or advanced degree is welcome, but not required
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and/or administering DE&I strategies or programs in a professional services environment
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
