Position Summary

The position of Global Diversity & Inclusion Data Analyst is a role established for the purpose of
supporting and delivering the Firm’s diversity and strategy.
The post holder will manage, mine and analyze a broad array of quantitative and qualitative diversity
data to compile analyses and develop reports to measure the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion
programs and initiatives and to monitor; and report on the recruitment, retention, mentoring and
promotion of diverse members of the firm in order to create a broad business impact. In partnership
with key stakeholder, the role holder will develop analytical tools and methods for use across
departments to advance the firm’s overarching Diversity & Inclusion strategy.
The role will primarily work with the Diversity & Inclusion team based in New York and London, and
coordinate with Partners and Business Support Services members as needed. The post holder will
also have responsibility for providing support on other global projects related to the Firm’s diversity
and inclusion programs as needed.

Duties and Accountabilities

 Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and HRIS teams to develop and ensure the
accuracy and integrity of all diversity data, trends and other related information including
reports for internal and external stakeholders.
 Support the ongoing development and refinement of diversity reporting metrics and tools to
evaluate the effectiveness of activities supporting the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy.
 Perform in-depth data analytics, including quantitative, statistical and comparative analysis, to
determine patterns and recognize trends. Work with leaders to analyze D&I and recruiting
data; produce tangible insights and contribute to global diversity strategy, implementation and
 Translate data into written reports, tables, graphs and charts (including developing creative
data visualizations to illustrate key findings); interpreting data results to provide written
commentary for practice groups, functional departments and firm management. Display
complex quantitative data in simple, intuitive formats and present findings in a clear and
concise manner.
 Partner with internal stakeholders to support data needs related to both regular and ad-hoc
diversity reporting and analysis including business, Global Diversity Committee and Global
Women’s Initiative Committee reviews.
 Conduct research to provide insight on the firm’s performance trends and identified target
ranges using publicly available industry and system data.
 Manage and support other D&I initiatives as required.
Selection Criteria
 Exceptional analytical skills and capabilities.
 Experience with successfully formulating and managing data reporting and analysis, using
data to tell a story and translate data into impactful reports, tables, graphs and charts.
 Ability to consult with stakeholders and identify metrics and interpretation needed in
 Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with
attention to detail and accuracy.
 Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, use initiative and judgment to accomplish timely
results, and work under tight deadlines.
 Advanced Proficiency of Excel and ability to build and maintain spreadsheets, utilize pivot
tables and advanced formulas, identify and track trends over time and other key metrics as
needed. Familiarity with Power BI and PeopleSoft systems. Spreadsheet modeling and
presentation-making skills to effectively present data in a compelling way, both verbal and
written, and influence decisions.
 Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction, taking
action when answers to a problem are not readily apparent.
 Experience in a similar role, ideally in a legal or professional services environment, preferred.
 BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information
Management, Economics or related discipline preferred.
 Prior HR business intelligence experience preferred.
Location and Reporting
 This is a 12-month contract position with a global remit and may be based in any White &
Case location.
 This role reports to the Global Diversity Senior Manager.
